Our DB25 4 Way Manual Switch Box is a convenient way to share serial or parallel peripheral devices between computers. The metal casing helps to prevent unwanted EMI/RFI interference in the signal.- This data switch box has all DB25 female connectors.
- To connect up to 4 serial or parallel devices to one computer or
- to connect up to 4 computers to one serial or parallel device.
- To use with serial devices like an external modem, you will need one male to female DB25 cable for each computer to the switch box [remember your PC's serial ports are male].
- To use with parallel devices like a printer, you will need one male to male DB25 cable for each computer to the switch box and of course a printer cable.
- Not intended for laser printers.
