The HDMI Type C Mini Connector, defined in the HDMI 1.3 specification, is intended for portable devices. It is smaller than the type A plug connector (10.42 mm × 2.42 mm) but has the same 19-pin configuration. The type C Mini connector can be connected to a type A connector using this Type A to Type C cable.

• Some Mobile Phones such as Nokia N8 supports HDMI playback via Mini-HDMI connector.
• Certain PC Tablets such as the ASUS Eee Pad Transformer are using Mini-HDMI ports.
• As of 2011, most standalone camcorders, as well as many digital cameras, are equipped with a mini-HDMI connector.
